Target Audience
The joint providership anticipates reaching more than 450 APPs involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with UC.
Program Overview
The Xpert Perspectives series will deliver a focused update highlighting new and emerging tools in the management of UC. The series will include three livestream meetings that will launch in May 2023 and conclude by December 2023 from current literature and abstracts presented at the annual meetings of Digestive Disease Week (DDW), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), and Advances in IBD (AIBD). The series will provide a brief overview of the evolving management and treatment of UC, with a focus on the emerging data presented at each of these nationally recognized congress meetings.
Educational Objectives
After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

Discuss key data regarding the latest diagnostic and treatment strategies for UC presented at the 2023 DDW, ACG and AIBD Annual Meetings

Explain the current and emerging treatment options for patients with UC

Recognize and communicate the risks and benefits of UC therapy

Identify barriers to the optimal management of patients with UC including reimbursement challenges
