GHAPP 2025 Conference | CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Course Directors of the 8th Annual GHAPP Conference invite the submission of abstracts on one of the categories in hepatology or gastroenterology listed below. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive update on the status of research and stimulate collaborations, recruitment of subjects, and ideas for developing other studies. Authors may submit abstracts of completed work, work in progress, or work presented elsewhere within the past 12 months. 
 

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE:
Friday, August 1, 2025

NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS:
Friday, August 15, 2025

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and selected for poster.

Abstract Formatting Instructions

  • Limit abstracts to one page, typed in 12-point Times New Roman font, single-spaced with one-inch margins, and left justified. 

  • Abstracts can contain graphs.

  • Organize the abstract into Background/Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Define all abbreviations. Include the abstract category, abstract title, full names and institutional affiliations of all authors, and email address of the corresponding author at the top of the abstract. 

  • Abstracts must not contain copyrighted material unless permission has been obtained by the author. Indicate at the bottom of the page if the abstract has been presented elsewhere and at what meeting.

​​Poster Rules & Instructions

  • Awarded poster abstracts should be printed using landscape orientation (36 inches high x 48 inches wide). 

  • Posters will be displayed in the Exhibit Hall for the duration of the conference WITHOUT a formal poster presentation.  Authors DO NOT need to be present at the conference.

  • Please note, only pharmaceutical companies actively supporting the conference (Platinum, Gold, Silver & Bronze) will have their posters considered for presentation. *Conference sponsors are also limited to submitting up to 2 abstracts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be a formal poster presentation at the conference?​

No. 
Posters will only be displayed on bulletin boards.

Do any of the authors need to be present at the conference?

No. 
There will not be a formal poster presentation.

Can I submit an abstract with graphs and/or exceeding 1-page?

Yes. 
However, we ask that you limit it to 1-2 pages max.

Can I submit previously published work?

Yes. 
 

Do you accept encore presentations?

Yes.
 

Who can submit an abstract for the conference?

Any APP or Platinum, Gold, Silver & Bronze conference sponsors.
Non-sponsoring industry abstracts will not be accepted.
